Will the NGP Play Your Old Games in old Psp .It seems that games from the PSP and PSP Go will play on the NGP, albeit through an emulator. The caveat, however, is that it will only work for games that are available digitally on the PlayStation Store (which may be less than you think). This is obviously because there is no UMD drive on the new device with which to play their proprietary media format. Sony has said that they are looking into trying to find some way to help PSP owners receive digital copies of their UMD based games, but given how that worked out with the launch of the PSP Go (hint: it didn’t) I wouldn’t bet the farm on that happening.If you do own digitally downloaded games for the PSP or PSP Go, you will be able to re-download and play those games on the NGP, provided you haven’t reached the download limit already.
